DNS is not so crucial for web browsing ... which is about 90% of web activity : and in opnsense (24.7.3_1 ) , boom after EVERY update unbound is crashed ?
WHy ?
2024-09-01T12:59:26 Error unbound Unable to open pipe. This is likely because Unbound isn't running.

if this is a joke ... it's not good.
As long as you limit your issue reporting to ranting on the forums, your setup will probably remain broken for you after every update indefinitely. It works fine here and works fine for many others.
My experience so far has always been that the problems with opnsense have always been in front of my screen! :)
If you assume that it works for a lot of people, then you would be well advised to look for the error in yourself first.
