I'm getting this when trying to update to 24.7.1....even after a full reboot?
Any hints?
Hmmm. After leaving it for a bit, it now says your packages are up to date.
Mirror not synced?
I suspect something DNS related. It just means a "pkg update" call is currently running (or stalling). The way this works is the second call waits for the first to complete. I know because https://github.com/freebsd/pkg/commit/69e28e7a0 ;)

First thing I checked was DNS. Resolves fine via diagnostics and DNS is set under system general.
Tried changing mirror but same. Maybe change mirror, reboot, try again?
I dunno. Never seen this before
You can simply try how long
# pkg update -f
takes. Or if this is reproducible at all on another reboot.
