I had the need to move a vm-xxx-disk-0 file from one storage to another. Worked great, it cloned over to the new storage, and the VM was automatically set to use the newly cloned disk. Great! The problem I have now is that I can't seem to be able to remove the old file:
Cannot remove image, a guest with VMID '105' exists!
You can delete the image from the guest's hardware pane.
Rebooted the VM figuring it might still have links to it, but it made no difference.
Anyone have any ideas?
That seems more for a hardware (even if VM) question. What are you using for your VM management?
