can the community edition do ssl interception so the contents can be checked by ips or is that only business edition?
That's something that zenarmor can do in either edition.

The IPS implementation suricata can't do TLS MITM.
There is squid that can do that for HTTPS, but not for all encrypted traffic.
Essentially both business and community edition are feature parity in these features.
The only thing offering true TLS MITM for all traffic is Zenarmor ( a paid plugin for either edition)
