Title: Virtuell IP on WAN - Source-IP for Routing?
Post by: sven.becker on June 07, 2024, 05:04:52 PM
Hi,we have HA and a virtual IP on the WAN-Site:

FW1 (MASTER): 192.168.168.100
FW2 (BACKUP): 192.168.168.101
Virtual IP: 192.168.168.102

HA works, the virtual IP is goes to FW2 when FW1 ist down.

When I go to the Internet, my source IP is 192.168.168.100 or 192.168.168.101 when FW1 is down.

How can I configure that my source ip is the virtual ip 192.168.168.102 all the time? Any idea?

You need an Outbound NAT rule for your WAN Interface with your CARP VIP as target.
