Title: Have we lost devices?
Post by: Taunt9930 on May 24, 2024, 03:46:02 PM
I've recently upgraded to OPNSense 24.1.7 and Zenarmor 1.17.3 and I've noted that I no longer have a 'Devices' Section in the Zenarmor UI.

I've just checked and Devices is still shown/accessible in the cloud console. Is this a bug with the latest version?

EDIT: I have submitted a report/logs through the UI

Hi,

There is no known issue. If your license is added properly and appears as valid, it could be a browser cache issue. Can you check the license and try in private window or another browser?

Hi Sy,

License shows as good (this only occurred after the upgrade to 24.1.7 / 1.17.3) and it still does not show in a private browsing session.

How odd. Tried a private browsing session, 3 different browsers with no luck. Have just come back to my original session/default browser and all is well! Issue no longer present.

I had the same problem but after reloading the UI it appeared again.

However I see different problem. For some reason ZenArmor wrongly identifies Devices even thou reverse lookups from DNS report proper hostname to an IP, ZenArmor completely missmatches them...

S.

Just to comment on this, I restored previous backup config for ZenArmor post the upgrade of 1.17.3 and now the devices are properly identified. Looks like something got wonky on my side.
