I've migrated to Kea while back, and I'm not sure its corollated to that but asking anyway.
My and my wife Macbooks (Intel, Apple) sometimes, too often, fail to get IP from the DHCP.
disconnecting and reconnecting the cable usually works, sometimes required few times.
Setting static IP solve this immediately.
Did anyone experience such thing as well ?
Try to raise lease time. Use the ISC DHCP value. AFAIK apple devices are kinda strict
Thanks, it was 4000 which is bit over an hour.
I've changed to 12 hours and see if makes a difference.

i set mine up the way it was supposedly default for ISC 7200
. and i've never had an issue with wired or wireless devices
