Guys I need your help,

I'm getting the following errors after manually selecting a few rules from the IDS/IPS ruleset. I simply set them to enabled and I'm getting the following error when I try to apply any change on Intrusion Prevention.

Error configuring IDS
Error Installing IDS rules ()

I tried reinstalling Suricata 7.0.3 and I'm running the latest version, fresh new install. but I get the same error. How can I roll it back like a fresh installation, no rules just back to the basic settings as it comes out of the base package?

After reinstall I get a message to remove the some configuration files, please see attached screenshots should I remove them?

I appreciate everyone comments, thank you in advance.

The problem is really tricky. I think the buggy program may have a script error. Did you fix it? Can you share more?
