Title: Announce: os-unifi-maxit replaces os-unifi7-maxit (with Unifi8)
Post by: mimugmail on February 02, 2024, 08:00:17 PM
Hi guys,
as there is no real stable way to upgrade the unifi pkg we have a separate plugin. So, if you still stick to os-unifi7-maxit you'll stick to unifi7 forever (or until it doesn't compile anymore).
If you want to upgrade:
1. Go to Services : Unifi : General -> disable it
2. Check the process is not running anymore
3. Head over to System : Firmware : Plugins and install os-unifi-maxit (it will remove the old one)
4. Go to Services : Unifi : General -> enable it
5. Pray :)
Have a nice one ..
Michael

Hi,
Thank you for your grear effort! KUDOS!
An important question though: I set up everything ok with plugin.
But when I login to my Unifi account in the Unifi web page, I can not connect to the Unifi network that just I set up with the plugin! Is there any port that I need to open on the firewall?

Kindly awaiting your feedback.
