Title: Zabbix Proxy on OPNsense

Hello all,

Has anyone implemented the Zabbix proxy service on OPNsense? I currently deploy a small Ubuntu VM for this purpose but thinking I could fold this into the OPNsense firewall since I have a ton of bandwidth on my OPNsense firewalls.

So if I have both the Zabbix agent and proxy on the same OPNsense firewall I point the agent to the proxy and away I go?

Yes, but thats not the idea of a proxy if you only Monitor localhost :)

Don't you point the Zabbix server at the proxy and then "adopt" the agent via the proxy from the server?
