Title: Help with First SetUp
Post by: jamie.a on October 03, 2023, 09:37:33 PM
Hi All, hoping for some help here.... I have this setup working on pfSense atm but bought new kit and swithcing to OpnSense.

6 x Physical 2.5gbps ports

LAN = 10.0.1.1/24 VLAN1
KIDS = 10.0.6.1/24 VLAN6
DMZ = 10.0.10.1/24 VLAN10
GUEST = 10.0.20.1/24 VLAN20
IoT = 10.0.30.1/24 VLAN30

PORT0 = WAN
PORT1&2 = LAAG0 (Switch Uplink = All VLANS)
PORT3&4 = LAAG1 (NAS Uplink = VLAN10)
PORT5 = Server (VLAN10)

I need LAAG1 & PORT5 on the DMZ VLAN. I want to do it this way as 2.5gbps managed switches are expensive and i don't really want +2 subnets for the Storage & Server. Plus this should allow the Server more bandwidth to the NAS (used to be 1gpbs).

I've probably not explained it very well here lol.

Not sure how to get the Port3-5 on DMZ VLAN and Zone.

"PORT3&4 = LAAG1 (NAS Uplink = VLAN10)
PORT5 = Server (VLAN10)"

Use a LAN bridge.
