Title: Static ARP block Opnsense
Post by: yeraycito on July 24, 2023, 08:04:27 PM
OPNsense 23.7-RC2

When configuring static mappings in DHCPv4 - Lan if I enable ARP Table Static Entry Opnsense it crashes to such an extent that it has to be formatted. The same happens when I first enable Enable Static ARP entries in DHCPv4 - Lan before configuring static mappings, Opnsense crashes and needs to be formatted. After the two formatting I have configured the static mappings without enabling ARP static entries.

The formatting is probably due to UFS.. or an endless boot crash loop? The stack trace would be useful, otherwise not really sure how to proceed.

Opnsense is installed via zfs, I'm leaning more towards an endless loop of boot locking. My Opnsense is installed on a mini-pc and when you connect an HDMI monitor to it you can see that the boot is locked after switching it off and on again.

Can't reproduce a crash enabling static ARP, which doesn't mean it's not there but I have no way if knowing what parameters are different on your end.
