Title: OpenVPN Key Password
Post by: micmoe on May 16, 2023, 03:32:39 PM
Hi,

I have just install OPNsense 23.1-amd64 and configure a road warrior VPN access with OpenVPN server, following this page :

https://www.networkshinobi.com/opnsense-openvpn-with-ldap-authentication/

Everything seems to be working well.

I have export the necessary files to my Linux laptop and imported it in the network manager.

When I try to connect 2 passwords are asked.

One for the user, that I have.
And One "Key password" that is surly for the certificate.

During the installation process of the OpenVPN server I did not provide a password for certificates. So I don't know where to find this password.

I have tried to include a password when using Client Export but it's not better.

Where this password is configured ? Can I leave this empty ? And if empty how can I tell my client ?

Thanks.
