Anyone running a Sophos SG115 and know what the status light indicates when running non-sophos software?
I just installed mine, and it's been up and running for a couple days now but I noticed my status LED is red. I'm not sure if it has been the whole time or not.
The sophos docs say it indicates a drive/SSD failure. All the SMART monitors look okay to me though. <shrug>

Have you solved the problem in the meantime or at least figured out what caused it?
Everything seems to be running fine on my end. Not sure why status LED is red. I'm not certain if it's only since a RAM ugprade, as i flipped the box before an never really paid attention to this LED.
There is no communication between OPNsense and this LED, red is probably the default state.
Somebody would need to write a plugin for the status LED to work.

Interesting. I found out that the LED only lit up red as long as I had the power adapter connected to port 1 via my UPS. I have now purchased a second power adapter and connected it to port 1 via the normal power grid. Additionally, I connected the one through the UPS to port 2. Now, the status LED has changed its behavior and is blinking permanently green instead of solid red.
Thank you for the tip regarding scripts for LED control. Hopefully, someone will write something like that someday.
