Hello! I tried to do traffic shaper + transparent proxy in the latest pfsense distro, but shaper is not working until i write proxy settings (ip + port without auth) in browser - so this is not a transparent proxy at all.
Now i want to try opnsense distro. I'm planning to install it with the only one interface, put it in the same subnet with mikrotik router (which is a default gateway) and make needful rules on mikrotik so user's requests to ports 80 and 443 will be redirected to opnsense.
With this scheme can opnsense limit bandwith for users (example 20 mbps) with a transparent proxy and filter "bad" urls (http and https?).
