Title: After upgrade to 23.1.2 IPsec connections gone
Post by: alphaz18 on March 09, 2023, 07:18:05 AM
Upgraded 2 opnsense from 23.1.1 to 23.1.2
and after that IPSec tunnels created using the "connections [new]" interface are non functional, they are still there in the config "connections [new]" interface, but under status overview they no longer appear at all and they don't load or connect.

Tunnels using the older ipsec config interface have no issues and connect fine and show up under the status overview just fine.

Help!

oh well i guess no one else uses ipsec with the new "connections [new]" interface
Nothing in logs indicates any failure, just doesn't work, nothing I add or remove from connections [new] shows up in the ipsec status overview.

I just ended up re-creating all the connections using the legacy interface for ipsec, works perfectly.

Spoke too soon. :\ my test connection showed up but my original one still broken.
on the bright side i figured out why, if i choose some of the aes128 ciphers it i'm not sure which ones i' chose some random lower ones then the whole connection disappears from the status overview and doesnt work, if i choose some other ones.. it seems ot re-appear and work..
