Title: Inheritance of /usr/local/www directory in OPNsense Source Code and Future Migra

I'm wondering whether the /usr/local/www directory in the OPNsense source code is inherited from pfSense, and if so, whether there are plans to migrate it to the /usr/local/opnsense/mvc/app directory in the future. Can anyone provide some insight on this?

Short answer: Yes.

Long answer: Yes, it's been in progress for the last 8 years and eventually /usr/local/www will be removed. But that is still 2-5 years away.
