Title: Full Reset of HAProxy Config
Post by: gsszuber on March 05, 2023, 04:27:28 PM
I've got my HAProxy config so messed up that it won't even start. Well, it starts, but there nothing populates in the log file. At least before I got "Proxy PublicService stopped (cumulated conns: FE: 0, BE: 0)." when I tried to start it. Uninstalling and reinstalling does nothing. Rebooting does nothing. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I am also getting this error.  Nothing in the logs except

2023-04-01T15:15:43 Warning haproxy Proxy webrouter stopped (cumulated conns: FE: 0, BE: 0).

I think it's been like this since the upgrade to 23.1.   I can't see anything wrong with the config, and indeed it was previously working and I have not changed it. I am loathe to post config here as it contains internal network configuration details I would rather keep private.

Does anyone have any idea why my proxy would immediately stop on server startup in this way?  Thanks.

I cannot start HAproxy either. I press the Start Services button in the Dashboard, and the web page refresh then nothing happens.

I've not had this particular error, but first thing I would try is to cut out ha pretty config from the xml config file and load it to a test box to see what happens. It is usually corrupted config that prevent the service from starting. Opnsense will try to restart the device over and over.
