I did a clean install of 23.1 few days back. Lat night upgraded to 23.1.1.
I notice that my installation size has increased considerably. It seems that the older kernels (other files) are not automatically deleted on an upgrade to a new revision.
Anyone know how to remove older kernels/ unused files from OPNsense - I am not looking to downgrade, so do not need the older files.
% du -hd1 /boot/kernel.old
84M /boot/kernel.old
Ok, but there are reasons here:
84 MB isn't too much, it may be required for recovery, it will only do this once.
Of course you can delete that directory after each kernel update, but i think you have other issues being concerned about 84 MB here...

Franco
