I would like to setup a cellular modem as a failover in case there is any issue with my home internet. I am following the incstructions here https://docs.opnsense.org/manual/how-tos/cellular.html. The issue I am running into is the provider I would like to use is Google FI, and this is not listed as a provider. Is there some manual configuration that I can use instead? I am not sure what exactly would be needed for this.
I am in the US and this is a standard Google FI plan. I am hoping to be able to use the same account as my phone. This will then only charge me for data that is actually used. If I never need to use the failover then there is no charge to me.
...primarily you will have to get your cell phone modem up and running, the provider is not a problem, usually. Choose your modem wisely, we recently had a thread here linking the pfsense wiki for compatible hardware for BSD. ;-)

When my fiber line went down a few months ago, I just USB tethered my pixel 6a which worked like a charm. I'd rather invest in something like that than a cellular modem.
