Hi,
i've a issue, maybe its a little bug or someone got a solution. On the interfaces WAN page with the "Idle Timeout" ...
I can't enter the value 0
I can't leave the field empty
Any other interger >0 works
As an error, this is thrown ...
The following input errors were detected:
The field Idle timeout value is required.
My workaround is to enter a big value of seconds. Am I alone?
Thx
to be honest, i do not even see this "idle" field on "Interfaces: [WAN]"
It's located in the Interface/WAN Page and ... unfortunaly im too dumb to provide a screenshot, it seems. Anyway. I was just wondering why could I am not set there a value "0" as "Idle Timeout". Especially the In-WebGUI-Help suggested to do so:
QuoteIdle Timeout
If no qualifying outgoing packets are transmitted for the specified number of seconds, the connection is brought down. An idle timeout of zero disables this feature.
It tells, put there a value of 0 (i've tried also "zero"), and then you end up in that error (The field Idle timeout value is required).
For me it's ok as a workaround, just to enter a big integer value instead of 0 (maybe 30 Days).
So it seems like to be a bug (as long nobody could tell me a good reason this should be as it is).
Maybe better to report it indeed. I really can not find this "idle timeout". If i randomly select some stuff i find timeouts for "protocol". Probably depends on other settings.
Anyway maybe it is useful for the developers. Note: you *should* use the bug reporting template. Add "x" for the "read" checkboxes. Otherwise they will ignore your ticket.
