How did you install OPNsense?
On what kind of hardware?
What kind of desktop/laptop system did you connect to the installed OPNsense?
How are you trying to access the UI?

I can not drive a car

- Do you have a car at all?
- Are you in the car?
- Did you use the key to start it?
- Did the car worked before?
- Do you have a drivers license? (some IT background in this case)

You see, we need a bit more information were you are stranded :)

That said, with default installation you should access the GUI with 192.168.1.1. It is stated in your screen also. I am afraid you are missing some basic experience. Which is no problem. We are here to help. But help us to understand what you have done until this point. What guide(s) did you followed?

Work from your firewall, the machine you setup. Attach keyboard and monitor.
From there you can login with the credentials you entered during setup.
Then look what are the IP addresses of it and finish the setup. I would guess that you have installed it but it is still behind your main home router and the reason you can't reach it yet.

Detailed instructions would be helpful?
I have always had a keyboard and monitor installed to do installation.
if I plug firewall into internet and use as my router I get no internet connection.
need to configure firewall to be firewall not DHCP.

logged in and get this screen.

Ok from there you can chose option 8 ) to drop to a shell.
There you enter the password you setup during installation. Then you can find out the ip.
start with ifconfig. Show your results and we'll take it from there. Also see what is the IP of the machine you are trying to reach it from. That will give clues.

are you really asking for help? or hoping someone to assist you on other related issues??? LOL

post as many screenshots as you can from the GUI and hopefully anyone here can tell you why you are plugged in to the WAN port as opposed to LAN, would be my wild guess. LOL

Use newly installed OPNsense appliance. Plug PC or Mac into LAN port. Enter 192.168.1.1 into your browser's address bar.

That's how you access the UI.

If you do a basic install it will show the WAN *AND* LAN IP.
I see no WAN IP in your picture. Did you connect it to your ISP?

That said, even without internet you should be able to access the routers GUI. But i miss the LAN interface in the picture. Did you manually changed stuff?
