Title: NAT rule issue
Post by: rongage on October 27, 2022, 06:22:38 PM
All:

Is there a special or non-intuitive method needed to remove a NAT Port Forward rule?

I had a rule set up to route my WAN address port 8080 to an inside device.  That was working just fine.  I went to delete that rule (and yes, I did click the "Apply Changes" button) and while the UI reports that the rule is indeed gone, the firewall is still doing the port forwarding.

Thanks!
Ron

most likely an established connection, the firewall tracks them in the state table. You could clear them or wait for the connection to end. A new one won't be allowed.

Looks to be resolved now.  Apparently Chrome keeps the connection open even if nothing is going on (probably some AJAX stuff going on).  Anyhow, closed Chrome and re-opened, NAT is no longer taking place.

Thanks!
