Hi everyone,
We have lots of routers in production env on Opnsense and we have a problem with updates.
When we need to install any package, for example, os-api-backup, we need to upgrade OPNSense before but how can we install withou update.
Our team would like to have our routers on the same version to simplify management but actually with this problem, it isn't possible!
On PFSense, it's possible so I hope it's possible on it...
There is other reason to my question. A router in production env cannot be restart on the moment.

Since the plugins you install are NOT for your version since they come bundled with a newer version you cannot install them. It's very simple and it keeps the system from breaking due to potential incompatibilities.
In the flavour setting for the firmware choose: "22.7/MINT/22.7.x/OpenSSL" to stay on a particular 22.7.x release... if you feel like updating change the version and check for updates!
Simple? Yes. Effective? Yes. Effort? 10 Seconds. Problems? No.
