Why is this doing this? This is a default install. No firewalls or NATs except for the default ones. When I go to add the Wireguard service my web pages do not load. But the moment I turn the service off they work again.

It's frustrating when things don't want to play nice. See if you can bring some more info about the problem to light - for yourself but also for the forum.
Take some packet captures and spend time analysing them (Wireshark is your friend). Is traffic allowed? Is it routed properly? Does it use protocols you weren't expecting?
