Title: Can not access ntopng admin page
Post by: road hazard on July 29, 2022, 05:56:23 AM
I followed this guide https://www.ntop.org/guides/ntopng/third_party_integrations/opnsense.html (https://www.ntop.org/guides/ntopng/third_party_integrations/opnsense.html) to install ntopng and after I was done, I do not see the "Once ntop is running, click here to open the web interface" link. Sure, I'm not using the enterprise version but would that matter?

In any case, trying to access the HTTP address: my_OPNsense_firewall_ip:3000 gets me a 'page can't be loaded' error.

Do you see ntopng running under services tab?

Hi all,
I revive this topic because i'm new to opnsense and i can't access ntopng GUI.
Service is running, port 3000 is ok from opnsense (via port probe) but not from my computer.
In firewall Live logs i can see that action is  [pass].
But if i setup port probe with my computer ip as source and opnsense lan ip as destination and 3000 as port i get a timeout ( nc: connect to 192.168.17.133 port 3000 (tcp) failed: Operation timed out).

Can someone help me to figure why ?
Looking at this since 3 days straight now. Can't understand.

{SOLVED} for me .... embarrassed to say - I had forgotten to put allow rule for port 3000 on FW
I am having the same issue - all services are green but can not access port 3000
I had installed
os-ntopng (installed)   1.2_2   20.5KiB   3   OPNsense   Traffic Analysis and Flow Collection

Should I install os-ntop-enterprise ?

Port 3000 is allowed, firewall real time log show that it's ok but  still no access to GUI.
