Title: How to connect to the internet without unbound?

My unbound won't start up anymore for some reason. The backend system logs say that "/var/run/unbound.pid: no such file or directory". I would like to try and reinstall/update it but without it I don't have internet access.

How can I get internet access without unbound to try and update it so that it may work again?

Use 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8 as your nameserver. Or any other public one.

Would that be in one of the five boxes in DNS under GENERAL SETTINGS? I tried that and it didn't seem to work.
