I have tried four different tutorials I have found online with no luck, many times. I thought maybe something I had done previously was messing things up so I actually nuked my OPNsense install and started over. Same tutorials. Same results.
I guess when I'm trying to access my network from outside (like my phone for instance) it is just not connecting. In fact, nothing works from my phone when I turn Wireguard on.
I am 99% certain I'm configuring the local server and the endpoint correctly, as far as putting the public keys in the right places and such. I'm not certain where else to check.
I would love if somebody could help me. I'm trying to get this going before I go back to work tomorrow so I can work on some other things in my network while I'm away from home.
I used this guide: https://homenetworkguy.com/how-to/configure-wireguard-opnsense/ (https://homenetworkguy.com/how-to/configure-wireguard-opnsense/)
and the author just tweeted: https://twitter.com/HomeNetworkGuy_/status/1534311693400125440?s=20&t=aYPMg4oVBG4LfmVXIhAvBA (https://twitter.com/HomeNetworkGuy_/status/1534311693400125440?s=20&t=aYPMg4oVBG4LfmVXIhAvBA)

and to update the screenshots due of minor updates to the web interface since the last update. My continuing effort to keep the content current, accurate, and informative!
Have you put a firewall rule on the WAN interface for wg?
