Title: Missing tunable error (debug.pfftpproxy)
Post by: Grossartig on April 28, 2022, 04:18:46 PM
I am seeing the following in the OPNsense logs:

/usr/local/etc/rc.newwanip: warning: ignoring missing default tunable request: debug.pfftpproxy

Looking at the tunable configuration page in OPNsense, I see that this tunable is shown as unsupported.

I am currently on OPNsense 22.1.6-amd64 and recently migrated my entire OPNsense config to a new box. Unsure if that's when this started, the message may have been there for some time and I only just noticed it as I have been monitoring the logs after the migration.

Is it safe to just trash this tunable from the tunable page?

Yes, debug.pfftpproxy was removed a long time ago in FreeBSD but was left in our standard config.xml until 2020.
