Fresh install of OPNsense Amd64 with a public static IP Wan and private IP Lan.
I have tried to use the Outbound NAT via Automatic and seem to keep stubbing my toe on something.
I can ping the upstream router using "7) Ping host" from the console, but nothing past that.
I am also playing with the hybrid outbound NAT and will try full manual Outbound NAT next.
Once I get that traffic flowing safely, I am sure my DNS issues will clear as well.
Am I headed in the right direction? Have I missed something embarrassingly obvious?
Please forgive me if this has been answered elsewhere.

The problem: too much twiddling with the knobs.
The Solution: Factory reset and enter my settings again, reboot and enjoy!
I can not thank this community enough for such a reliable system.
You folks rule!
