Title: After update, IPSEC VPN lost phase 2 / tunnel settings on 2nd VPN connection
Post by: Scott Heasley on February 16, 2022, 02:14:44 AM
Hello,

I updated my firewall today to 22.1 and lost the phase 2 tunnel settings for my 2nd of 2 VPN tunnels.  I cannot find anywhere that I can check or create the phase 2 settings for the matching phase 1 connection.  I removed the connection and recreated it and cannot find anywhere that I can choose to configure phase 2 for the gateway that I just created.  I restarted and have the same result.

I ran a health check and it shows some missing dependencies.

py37-markupsafe has a missing dependency: python37
py37-markupsafe has a missing dependency: py37-setuptools
py37-markupsafe is missing a required shared library: libpython3.7m.so.1.0

Any thoughts?

TIA

Scott

You need to click on the specific P1 to see theirs P2 at the bottom. In the line of P1 is a + to add new P2. I also needed a moment to find it :)

Please remove py37-markupsafe manually as it is a leftover from 1-2 years ago when the FreeBSD ports package was renamed and caused a little bit of issues. From the console:

# pkg remove py37-markupsafe

Will do, and thanks again for the help.

BTW, the tunnel came right up.  I helps to do things right.  :)
