Seems to be a horrible experience browsing these forums from a mobile device as literally every page you have to zoom in loads before anything is usable.
Is there a specific theme or url to access it by to make it more usable?
I'm using tapatalk app (the pro version without ads is worth the money) without an account for reading which is great, but when writing I use a computer because I don't want to funnel credentials through the phone.

ok thanks. i'll try that then, i used it a few years ago and it wasn't amazing and only supported certain forums like phpBB. will give it another shot.
out of interest , why don't you want to funnel your creds through your phone? don't trust the app specifically or phones in general? why not just use unique passwords for each forum account?
Because admin credentials don't belong in third party apps.
And yes, tapatalk was horrific a couple of years ago but it's mostly fine now... some freezes with older phone seen but nothing a restart of the app can't fix.

Personally, I prefer sites like this that aren't 'mobile friendly'.
So many forums I've used, have been 'upgraded' with software like 'Xenforo', and IMO have been completely ruined. They always seem to end up completely dumbed-down, trying to emulate crappy IM services, with pointless childish graphical icons everywhere. 'Infinite scrolling' GAAAH !
Please never 'upgrade' this forum, its fine as it is !
Has SMF figured out native IPv6 support yet? As long as they don't we are probably safe. ;)
