Title: NordLynx (WireGuard NordVPN implementation)
Post by: washer on January 04, 2022, 06:02:32 PM
I've followed a few similar posts on how to figure out NordLynx's WireGurad configs (like https://forum.opnsense.org/index.php?topic=21350.0 (https://forum.opnsense.org/index.php?topic=21350.0) from koushun) so I can setup a tunnel in OPNsense, but haven't been able to find the WireGuard configs like others from a few months ago.

I'm able to connect to a wireguard session using nordvpn, it creates an interface called 'nordlynx' and passes traffic but I haven't been able to find any config details in wireguard. 'wg show' returns empty and it doesn't look like there is any config for nordlynx in wg-tools.

This is a fresh Centos 8.5 VM with wireguard-tools v1.0.20210914 and NordVPN v3.12.2.

Has NordVPN moved to an internal wireguard implementation that doesn't use wg-tools? Is it possible to find the config another way? I'm trying to setup a tunnel on OPNsense and need the config parameters instead of their app.

Maybe this will help with getting the config info: https://forum.openwrt.org/t/instruction-config-nordvpn-wireguard-nordlynx-on-openwrt/89976

Or switch to Mullvad :)

I saw that you managed to get a successful NordLynx connection in OPNSENSE, could you help me?
