Something broke in os-frr in 21.7 for me. FRR by itself works fine, but no changes can be done to FRR config via GUI. If I start from new install and restore config from backup /usr/local/etc/frr/*.conf are not getting populated and FRR process can't start.
I guessing that something is proceeding templates from /usr/local/opnsense/service/templates/OPNsense/Quagga/
is failing. But what is it and how to troubleshot it? I fail to find any documentation regarding internal working of os-frr and really do not want to start digging through the code.
Could someone point me to right direction?
BTW: config works fine with 21.1

Thank you .
net/frr: Multiple BGP peers causes config generation error #2623
It seems to be a my case. And now I know where to look for errors like that.
I am seeing the same issue. Is there a way to apply these patch safely in my current installation (opnsense 21.7.4 and frr1.22_1) or do I have to wait until the release of version 1.23? How often are the updates released?
Tomorrow is patchday, not sure if frr is included
21.7.5 tomorrow already?
I suppose that is a maintainer "yes" on the release of the new os-frr plugin for 21.7.5 tomorrow?! ;)
Cheers,
Franco
