Title: Dynamic DNS - Cached IP not updating - WAN[pppoe]

Hi All,

Any guidance will be appreciated, trying to use NO-IP Free DynDNS, the WAN interface is a PPPOE assigned interface. But the log state the following:

Code Select
/services_dyndns_edit.php: Dynamic DNS (myhostname.noip.me) There was an error trying to determine the public IP for interface - wan(pppoe0). Probably interface is not a WAN interface.

I suspect it's because it sees the Private 172.16.x.x IP of the pppoe connection however Interfaces > Overview > WAN (IPv4 address does show the correct IP (iow the public IP)

Release running: OPNsense 21.7.r_228-amd64

How can this be resolved?
