Is it possible to add this feature in just like FreeNAS/TrueNAS to connect to the google for the system wide email use.

built-in...

As in rather than configuring postfix, just fill in a couple of questions click on the gmail API and done.

I saw this thing that it can be setup to send the messages to "telegram"... can these not be built-in in the GUI? :)

OPNsense currently does not support the telegram messenger. You would have to build your own plug in.

I am looking at the Practical OPNsense 2nd ed. by Markus Stubbig. Chapter 23 sec about Telegram is to use curl to send out API key with various variables to telegram URL. it's an ingenious script to provide info to the end user. :)
