Here is my question. I have two piholes running Unbound. OPNsense is using them for DNS so there is no DNS running on the router. My computers are mostly static IP's and im using Debian so Systemd resolved.conf is what I have set up. I have resolved.conf pointing to the piholes for DNS. But that seems like I would be asking twice for DNS. I ask the Pihole for DNS then OPNsense asks the Piholes for DNS. If I change my resolved.conf to the router ip address for DNS I cant resove. What is the right way to set something like that up? I hope I explained this ok. Thanks
Can you explain why you seem to be asking twice of DNS?
your pc is using pihole for dns. Once the name is resolved, that's it, period.
