Title: New install on APU2
Post by: hushcoden on July 30, 2021, 06:59:50 PM
Just complete a fresh install and the WAN doesn't pick up an IP address, never happen before, any suggestions?

Username and password checked, and my spare router connects immediately...

Tia.

Some ISP cache or register the MAC address on the WAN interface. Try cloning the MAC address of the old router to your WAN and see if it works. In the past I had to reinitialize my cable modem or call the ISP to get the OLD MAC cleared.

Thanks but unfortunately it's not MAC related...
