Title: Recently migrated over from pfsense. cannot find graph for quality / packet loss
Post by: zerodamage on June 11, 2021, 04:10:15 PM
Loving the change from pfsense. Quite happy with the look and feel after getting used to the menu differences. I am missing something though and I'm hoping I am just overlooking it.  In pfsense, i have the ability to go to a monitoring option which would let me view packet loss in percentages with a corresponding graph.  I've found this to be very critical when dealing with ISPs and issues on their end.   I am not finding this in OpenSense and it seems that it should be in the Reporting => Health area but it just isn't there.  Am I missing something?

Welcome :)

Back during the apinger days we decided to disable the gateway / quality monitoring by default. To enable it go to System: Gateways: Single and edit the gateway(s) where you need to enable it. Uncheck "Disable Gateway Monitoring" and save + apply.

That enables both the gateway monitor and the RRD (system health) graph for it.

Cheers,
Franco
