Title: OpenSense standalone server

Hi,

Can we install it as a standalone server and use it as a proxy server with content filtering.
I dont want want to use it in gateway mode

Definitely. I ran it with just LAN and every other interface deleted. About the foltering capabilities in your use case, you will probably have to just give it a try.

OK and what settings do you 've in the WAN interface ?

I deleted it. Interfaces --> Assignments.
Then for the LAN interface configure default gateway and DNS server and you are ready to run ...
