Title: Setting up OpenVpn - missing client export installers
Post by: Blade3 on May 20, 2020, 01:25:01 AM
Hi,
I want to setup OpenVPN with OPNSense. This is on Hyper-V.

I have setup a server and client but in client export I don't see any option to download a Windows installer.

Please help.

Sorry, we do not offer bundled Windows installer binaries for a number of reasons mentioned in the forum over the years.

Cheers,
Franco

Ah ok I did't know that, new to the product and forums. What solution is there then?

I switched from pfsense and my solution was to download the ovpn configuration file. I used the official openvpn downloads to get the windows binary. All you have to do is to copy the *.ovpn file to the config folder. It works perfect.
