Title: Loopback interface lost its ip after upgrade to 20.1.4
Post by: cmdr.adama on April 11, 2020, 06:16:49 AM
Hi guys,

Has anyone noticed a bug that dropped Loopback interface config(s) after upgrading from 20.1.3 to 20.1.4?

Not a major issue and was an easy enough to fix it, but it took me a little bit to figure out my loopback interface lost it's IP after the upgrade...

Hi,
yes I have realised something like this. I have actually installed 20.1 and saw that in the interface configuration the IPv4 configuration type is set to None although it was configured as static. If I have a look in the Overview of the interfaces the Loopback interface is configured appropriately although you do not see it any more in the configuration. This I have seen only at loopback interfaces. Is there any known reason for this?
Thx
regards Richard
