Hello.

I come to you for a question that I ask myself.

I want to put Opnsense at home and I would like to have your opinion. Security point of view, it is better to put the system on a dedicated Apu motherboard or I can put on a Vm with Proxmox?

i would split it! it is more secure i think

proxmox will not work with realtek nics. I found out hard way, built a custom esxi with the drivers compiled- its pretty easy look online.

but if you have intel- GoG.
