Title: Unstable connection and promiscuous mode enabled/disable
Post by: TREYKOV on December 21, 2019, 10:32:17 PM
Good afternoon friends,

Due to a serious hardware failure .. I had to recover my firewall from the backup on exactly the same hardware.

Everything is working fine, I exceed that I am experiencing a lot of packet loss. Ping is very unstable.

These messages are very repetitive:
Dec 21 17:16:26   kernel: pflog0: promiscuous mode enabled
Dec 21 17:16:26   kernel: pflog0: promiscuous mode disabled
Dec 21 17:16:09   kernel: pflog0: promiscuous mode enabled
Dec 21 17:16:09   kernel: pflog0: promiscuous mode disabled
Dec 21 17:16:01   kernel: pflog0: promiscuous mode enabled
Dec 21 17:16:01   kernel: pflog0: promiscuous mode disabled
Dec 21 17:15:44   kernel: pflog0: promiscuous mode enabled
Dec 21 17:15:44   kernel: pflog0: promiscuous mode disabled
Dec 21 17:15:42   kernel: pflog0: promiscuous mode enabled
Dec 21 17:15:42   kernel: pflog0: promiscuous mode disabled
Dec 21 17:14:28   kernel: pflog0: promiscuous mode enabled
Dec 21 17:14:28   kernel: pflog0: promiscuous mode disabled
Dec 21 17:13:48   kernel: pflog0: promiscuous mode enabled

Any idea how I can run a troubleshot to detect the source of the problem?

I have exactly same issue, no hardware failure. Before November it was ok.

This has been getting worse for me, my connections disconnect on the set 15 min intervals.  Any idea on a fix?
