I am not able to create aliases via the GUI.
If I select host(s) or network(s) I only see a field "Content". But neither will accept an IP-adress with/without subnet. Only GeoIP seems to be usable. The other will not let me enter any useful information.
I have just setup opnsense the first time and are running 19.7.5.

Yes, have exactly the same problem with newly created Alias Content in 19.7.5.
It worked with 19.7.4 without any problem (two days ago I've used it to add my own blocklist with a special link inside "Content").
But now with 19.7.5 it doesn't accept to add new "Content" in newly created Aliases.
Seems to be a bug in 19.7.5?
PS: Oh I see, the bug is already known. Hope for a fix with a special 19.7.5.1 or so ...
Because I don't know how to add this fix by myself:
https://github.com/opnsense/core/commit/7a5a2712cdb8dc5cb4e2b7fae46430bd8849799f (https://github.com/opnsense/core/commit/7a5a2712cdb8dc5cb4e2b7fae46430bd8849799f)
Just enter the command in my link via CLI
Sorry, doesn't do it for me. I added the patch via "opnsense-patch 7a5a271", I restarted all services via CLI "11", cleared my browser cache completely, but still no change.
Patch is working correctly for me. Sorry for the misinformation. I am using the interface for the first time. No need to roll-back to 19.7.4
opnsense-revert -r 19.7.4 opnsense
Can also confirm, the patch is working as expected.
Thank you very much. *thumbs up* :)
I've tried patching using "opnsense-patch 7a5a271" as well as manually editing the opnsense.js file with the changes but I'm still having issues with aliases. I don't see any content in them when I first try to edit them and then when I do see their contents (after a 2nd attempt at editing one), I can't add any new networks to the alias.
I've had to roll back to 19.7.4 to get things working again using "opnsense-revert -r 19.7.4 opnsense".
Patched worked after a reset
