Title: WAN won't function after relocation
Post by: cyph3r on August 19, 2019, 07:01:22 PM
Hello,

I'm using Opnsense from about 2 years. It worked like a charm.

1 week ago i've changed of home location, and changed ISP.

After the restart of my Proxmox server, my Opnsense won't use my WAN interface anymore.

Any rules NAT and WAN filtering section that i had created don't work.
And if i put my rule to Floating, that function normaly.

What can wake up my WAN interface ? I don't know what i've missed.
The others virtual interfaces wkorking normaly.

Thanks guys

There are a few protocols offered by ISP's to connect to the internet. Who is your new ISP and do they detail the connection settings on their support pages?

I havn't installed the WAN opnsense to the internet but to the LAN of my ISP router.

If i create a new virtual interface, and link it my WAN interface, that one works.
That's strange

There are great chances that is a bug, beacause if i recreate the interface and the rules, same as they are, that's working well, sadly.

Thanks
