Title: dynDNS update for subdomains doesn'n not work anymore
Post by: SoGX on August 05, 2019, 10:09:41 PM
Hello,

after an update to the current version 9.7.2 a dyndns update does not work anymore as soon as subdomains are used. For example, an update of the domain abc.com will work, but an update of the subdomain 123.abc.com will not.
This worked fine before the update. The DNS provider is Cloudflare. In the logfiles you can see that the call of the API runs on a timeout. However, this only happens with the subdomain.

Another problem could not be solved in the last update yet. dynDNS and gateway groups. The IP check does not work here. Only an error is displayed in the log:

opnsense: /services_dyndns_edit.php: Curl error occurred: Couldn't bind to ''

I discovered that if I changed the type of syncing (cloudflare, dyndns, etc. ) then saved it and changed it back that it began working again.  Odd, but figured I would document it here for anyone else (curl throws a cannot bind to interface error).
