I'm aware that OpnSense uses its own pkg ... repo... ? that stuff has to get loaded into. Just curious if anyone know what it would take for mitmproxy (https://mitmproxy.org/) to work on opnsense. Not even looking for gui, just the program itself.
Which features does it offer squid doesnt have?
@mimugmail: you can add a script to modify requests, response like you can do it via ICAP when using squid.
It is mainly a pentesting tool, where btw. ZAP (https://www.owasp.org/index.php/OWASP_Zed_Attack_Proxy_Project) is IMHO the better option.
@Szeraax: Have you already tried ICAP? It is easy to create own services - for example with my ICAP server (https://github.com/fabianfrz/ICAPrb-Server).
Interesting. I'll have to give that a go with ICAP. Never heard of either.
up (what are the chances to get mitmproxy still in opnsense? I think it does really have unique feats others don't)
