Title: Reload ppp interface via cron?
Post by: liwanda on March 15, 2019, 08:33:27 AM
Hello everybody, My name is Liwanda
I have not found anything yet.
My UMTS modem now and then needs a 'reload' in the interface overview.
I would like to automate this (cron?)

I would need a 'configdp_run' ('interface_reconfigure', array ('...'));

Is that possible?

thank you for your help

Hi Liwanda,

You need to find out your internal representation of the interface in the /conf/config.xml file (wan, lan, optX) and then go to System: Settings: Cron, create a job for "Periodic interface reset" and as a parameter add that internal representation.

Cheers,
Franco

I had hoped you found a way to get rid of internal representations alltogether but really you just hid it from the Web-UI? That's a bummer, somehow   :-[
