I am trying to install Opnsense 19.1 on my Pc Engine APU but it failed while copying the file on the 60GB mSATA drive.
At first I thought the mSATA was bad - I had issues with pfSense too last year - and replaced it with a newer 120GB SanDisk today. Same result.
Here's the error I get:

Strangely, when I switch to a SD card instead of a mSATA, the installation completes and I can configure and do everything with the firewall and it works like a charm.
But I would prefer to use the mSATA.
Can anyone help?
Thx

Are you using the correct slot on the board ? It must be the one labeled mSata - it's written on the board.
Also, I'd highly recommend you upgrade the BIOS on the board, check out the intructions I posted the the APU 1-5 thread in the Hardware subforum.

Yes I am using the mSATA slot, the 2 others are mPCIe only.
I will update my BIOS and comment back.
Thx

BIOS update (v4.9.0.2) did the trick. The installation went smoothly and I now have Opnsense 19.1 running.
Thx for the pointers!

Glad it all worked out. Please prepend [Solved] to the thread name as it would likely help others and it's a good filter when looking at a bunch of different threads.
